About

Cricket (They/Them) is a dynamic and versatile transgender non-binary voice actor who has been a professional in the industry since 2014. With a naturally expressive voice, a wide vocal range, and an energetic presence, they bring a diverse array of characters to life—spanning different ages, genders, personalities, and even fantastical species. Their talent for storytelling, coupled with a deep understanding of character nuance, has earned them recognition across multiple areas of voiceover work, including video games, animation, trailers, and audio dramas.
Cricket’s journey into voice acting began serendipitously, but their passion for performance and sound quickly took root and evolved into a passionate career. Their voice can be heard in popular video games such as Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter, Ready or Not, and Galacticare. They have also voiced characters in the MMORPG Rappelz and contributed to game trailers for titles like The Ascent and Kitaria Fables. Cricket has also been involved with podcast audio drama comedies like Jump Leads and The Dark Ages Show.
Their work with studios such as Adult Swim, Brightrock Games, Cryptic Studios, and Space Rock Games reflects not only their vocal talent but also their commitment to expanding gender representation in media. As a transgender non-binary performer, Cricket hopes to bring authenticity and depth to characters while advocating for more authentic representation in media, which is also reflected through their volunteer work with Queer Vox and their other career as an illustrator under the name, Bad Carrot Studios.
They have a background in singing and choral performance with TCLA (the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles), even recording with TCLA for artist such as Muna, Boygenius, Wrabel, and Joy Frost among others.
Known for their collaborative spirit, strong work ethic, and adaptability in the booth, Cricket continues to push creative boundaries in each role they take on. As their career grows, so does their commitment to bringing unforgettable characters to life in immersive storytelling.

“Working with Cricket has been one of my favorite parts of this entire development journey. We all had a degree of anxiety about how MEDI would work as a character - his dialogue and tone are particularly tricky to balance. All of that anxiety faded once we cast Cricket. They're brilliant, consummately professional, clearly dedicated to the craft of voice acting, and a genuine delight to work with. I can't recommend them highly enough, and I'm excited to work with Cricket again as soon as the project is ready for them.”
~Dante de Glanvill, lead writer & audio director at Brightrock Games
